Do you have Gingivitis?

Gingivitis is an inflammation of the gums, usually caused by a bacterial infection.
If left untreated, it can become a more serious infection known as periodontitis. Gingivitis and periodontitis are major causes of tooth loss in adults, according to the American Dental Association.

So how do you know if you have gingivitis? Usual signs and symptoms include:

  • Gums are bright red or purple.
  • Gums are tender and sometimes painful to the touch.
  • Bad breath (also called halitosis).
  • Inflamed or swollen gums.
  • Receding gums.
  • Soft gums.

What Causes Gingivitis?
The main cause of gingivitis is Dental Plaque. Plaque is a biofilm that continually accumulates naturally on your teeth. In the early stage of gingivitis, bacteria in plaque build up, causing the gums to become inflamed and to easily bleed during brushing. Although the gums may be irritated, the teeth are still firmly planted in their sockets. No irreversible bone or other tissue damage has occurred at this stage.

If you have gingivitis, the disease is still reversible and can usually be eliminated by a professional cleaning at your dental office, or by self care at home by daily brushing and flossing, and by using toothpaste and mouthwash made with ingredients that reduce the swelling.

Here is our product recommendation for Gingivitis:
Our Tsuyahaku Antigingivitis Gel Toothpaste for Adults together with our Periowash 2-in-1 Toothpaste and Dental Rinse. The Periowash liquid toothpaste/mouthwash also deals with bleeding gums issue. It will stop bleeding gums and prevent further bleeding. It also tastes delicious!

In addition to this, remember it’s important to use a Soft toothbrush, preferably with ultrafine tapered bristles like this one here.

Finally, remember to brush gently and carefully, no need to be hard on your teeth and gums. You need them more than they need you👀😂😂

✨Popular Japanese Oral Care Chewing Gum😋

Sugarless, Aspartame-free Chewing Gum

These Chewing Gum contains 100% Xylitol, meaning they’re sugarless and do NOT contain any other sweeteners❌
Most chewing gums contain artificial sweeteners such as aspartame, acesulfame-k and sucralose , which apart from being harmful to the body, have no beneficial effect to your oral health.🧐

Xylitol on the other hand makes it hard for plaque-causing bacteria to attach themselves to teeth, eventually preventing cavities.🤩 Of course 1oo% xylitol isn’t the only reason why you should chew this gum. It’s also formulated with Calcim Phosphate and Fukuronori which play an important role in re-calcification and re-mineralizing the teeth’s lost minerals.

The Lotte Xylitol gum comes in jars (each with 90 chewing gums) as well as travel size resealable pouches (with 21 chewing gums) ✈️🥰
There are 4 flavors available: Apple Mint, Clear Mint,Orange and Muscat. 🍎🍊🍈
Diabetics can safely enjoy chewing this gum. What’s more, they do not contain any allergen-causing ingredients which means everyone can enjoy chewing them! 😋😋

THE PROCESS
The whole manufacturing process, of all Tsuyahaku toothbrushes,is done in Japan.
All the materials used i.e Toothbrush bristles, handle as well as the package, are 100% Made in Japan.
The toothbrushes are made from the finest quality materials. All Tsuyahaku toothbrushes are non-nylon and have polyester bristles. There are 2 reasons for that.
Polyester bristles are firmer and more durable than nylon. They don’t fray as quick as nylon and when they finally do, they fray uniformly so you know it’s time for a new toothbrush and ② polyester bristles are less porous than nylon, which minimizes bacterial growth.
They are then sterilized by UV rays, carefully inspected one by one and then individually sealed and packaged in a famous toothbrush manufacturing plant in Yao, Osaka Japan.
